The Republic of Slovenia and the State of Israel established diplomatic relations on 28 April 1992, and the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Tel Aviv was opened on 1 August 1994. Relations between the two countries have been traditionally friendly and dynamic, and that is to the benefit of citizens of both countries.
